Assembly

Proton Engineering simplifies for you by taking care of the assembly of composite details and then deliver directly to the customer. We perform various tests to verify that all customer requirements are met. Our customers are world leaders in the automotive and engineering industries.

We have the capacity to handle all post-manufacturing processing, and to ensure a consistently high quality, we also offer to assemble composite components. We are currently working on technology to fit attachments that will mean we do not have to weld, among other things.  This will ensure that we do not run the risk of burning-through during welding. We also buy assembly components from external suppliers and perform final assembly of pipes and other components that we then deliver directly to the customer. Today we install hoses with various types of connections and attachments, among other things.

When there is a need for special machinery for cost-effective assembly, we take care of this through close cooperation with automation companies. We carry out cleanliness and leakage testing of pipes to verify that all customer requirements are satisfied. Leakage testing often takes place in connection with our production to ensure an effective workflow, while cleanliness testing is carried out in our dedicated laboratory.

Today Proton Engineering satisfies the following customer requirements relating to leakage testing: Scania standard 1885 and Volvo standard 5089.1. When installation and any verification is complete, we deliver directly to our customers’ facilities around the world.
