The reason for our cooperation is simple. KVIST has been making high quality wooden furniture in Denmark since 1896, and Proton Engineering AB has just shy of 100 years experience in the development and manufacture of tubular steel components. For decades, each of us has supplied components and assembled furniture for some of Scandinavia’s most prominent furniture manufacturers. So why not do what we are best at … together?

Our cooperation took shape over a long period. But the reason we started talking about working together was that we both felt the market demanded this kind of solution.
and what is the solution?
Well, together we are able to supply finished furniture. Apart from manufacturing a furnishing and all its components, we are also able to take care of purchasing, assembly, surface treatment, packaging and direct deliveries. Product final assembly and delivery is either from Årre in Denmark or from Skillingaryd, Sweden, depending on where your business or your customer is. In other words, we take care of the whole process, right from the drawing board to the customer’s dealer.
“We simply take over the entire logistical handling surrounding a product, which means our customers only need one supplier and one contact in order to produce complete furniture,” says Karsten Clausen, salesman at KVIST.
