How do we turn our values into practical action?
We do this at several different levels. Among others through a joint quality policy where we state our all-embracing view of quality (each company also has its own business-related policy).
Environment
Another extremely important consideration is our view of the environment.
As a large company we feel it is only natural that we take great responsibility for our surroundings. This means that in many cases we set higher standards than are required by law. At Proton Finishing, where we work with surface treatments, we recently launched Swan-marked chrome – with the Nordic seal of environmental approval.
We strive to ensure that everything we do has the lowest possible impact on nature’s resources. We husband raw materials and work hard to reduce emissions and waste. We also make sure our manufacturing processes are eco-safe and continuously improved.
