We provide advice, manufacturing support, training and surface layer testing and verification, either as independent players or in cooperation with Proton Finishing, all depending on the type of solution you are looking for.
Our story
We have a short, but at the same time long and eventful history. In 2007 we became an independent company, from having been a part of Proton Finishing. In 2002 we took our first steps on the road to becoming Proton Technology. That is when we created the R&D department within Proton Finishing. Even back then our direction was technical development and technical support. During that year we began the work of introducing process safeguard routines into Proton Finishing’s units.
From laboratory to knowledge-based business
Two years later, in 2004, we built a laboratory for corrosion test equipment in Huskvarna. In 2006 we expanded further and moved to new facilities and a newer, larger laboratory in Bankeryd. At the same time we started Surface Academy, a veritable milestone in our development. During 2005 and 2006 our laboratory business doubled its sales. In 2007 we became Proton Technology.
